  • Leading National Healthy Snack Company -- we were retained twice by this company.  Initially by its founding Family owners, we turned around the operations, massive customer challenges and subsequently led the sale of the business for the family with its investment bankers.  Subsequently, we were retained by the new Private Equity acquirers of the business.  As their CEO and COO, we led this same company again and doubled its profitability / EBITDA during the great recession.  This included reversing customer losses, retaining and growing the Walmart, Costco and other customers, consolidating and then expanding multiple manufacturing facilities, attaining SQF / BRC quality certifications, reorganizing sales and operations, and introducing forty-five successful new products.  We eventually led the company-sale and management presentation processes again achieving double-digit multiples of EBITDA for the owners.



  • Regional Refrigerated and Frozen Food Company-- turned around multi-million $ losses at this middle market Private Equity owned company.  Within ten months, as their On Demand CEO we reversed significant internal plant operational problems (down time, waste, throughput, morale, quality, etc.), major customer issues, regulatory challenges, etc.  Also, brand and private price increases were successfully implemented - the first time in three years.  Continue to serve as the Private Equity firm's board advisor.



  • Leading Consumer Goods Wholesaler -- turned around this Forbes 400 company and its $15 million annual losses in less than two years.  This included resolving customer problems (including Walmart and other key accounts), improving bank relationships, collecting long overdue multi-million $ account receivables, closing unprofitable plants, building a new greenfield plant, completing product and route consolidation, re-negotiating union labor terms, and re-organizing management with the promotion of under-recognized employees.  We prepared this company for eventual sale and successfully saved its owners their multi-million $ equity as well as hundreds of employee jobs.



  • National Brand & Private Label Baked Goods Company -- turned around a $10 million annual loss for this Fortune 500 firm.  Within 18 months, created and implemented new strategies, advertising (tested and nationally expanded), new product lines (consumer researched and then rolled out successfully), sales force motivation, product & plant consolidations, and regionally-tailored actions for specific brands, plants and key customers.



  • Global Branded Fresh Meat Company -- turned around a $25 million annual loss at this major division of a Fortune 100 firm. Within 24 months, reorganized all functional groups, re-established product quality, revitalized the top tier customers across retail, food service and international accounts, and rebuilt team structure and sustainable performance.
